Lateral Ventricles
The lateral ventricles are the largest and most superior of the ventricles. They are lined by ependymal epithelia, and have a choroid plexus in their superior part of the inferior horn. Each ventricle has 3 horns: anterior/posterior/inferior. They are considered to be part of the telencephalon. CSF drains from the lateral ventricles into the third ventricle via the interventricular foramina (foramen of monro).
