Hydrocephalus

A disorder which arises as a result of imapaired CSF drainage. This can be due to a number of factors such as cribiform plate obstruction. The obstruction causes the volume of CSF to increase and therefore the intracranial pressure. This pressure increase can cause: enlargement of the head, convulsion, and mental disabilities.
